Our standard recommendation is EFI: a balanced fine-grain industrial grade for precision components, research and thermal applications. ECO is the economical choice for less demanding parts; EXC is particularly suitable for high mechanical loads, fine details and demanding precision components.

Product description
Precision-ground plate made from isostatically pressed graphite with a carbon content above 99.98%. Its flat surface and fine-grain structure make it particularly suitable for research, laboratory work, high-temperature technology, glass processing and EDM.
- Surface roughness of ground faces: Ra < 3.2 µm
- Angular deviation: < 0.1°
- Flatness of ground faces: < 0.03 mm

Operating temperature
Graphite begins to oxidize more rapidly in oxygen-containing atmospheres from approximately 450 °C. In inert gas or vacuum, operating temperatures of 1,700 °C and above are possible, depending on grade, load and application.
